What We Do

We offer a wide range of opportunities to serve our brothers and sisters right here in Madison! Sign up to volunteer as your schedule allows, by clicking on the events on the calendar above. You will then be contacted with transportation details by a local service leader.

  • Support motherhood by serving at the Pregnancy Helpline’s sharing center
  • Support cultural diversity by going to English Conversation Time to help immigrants practice English
  • Support the hungry by helping at the Catholic Multicultural Center’s free meal
  • Support the environment by helping keep the UW-Arboretum clean and free of invasive species
  • Support the Sisters of Mary Morning Star by helping them with their craftwork

Want to make service a bigger priority? Then weekly committed service is for you! Weekly committed service allows you to develop relationships with the people you serve by visiting and serving the same people every week. We are currently offering weekly committed service at Capitol Lakes (working with the elderly) and West High School (tutoring). Just email to sign up.

Every winter and spring break, we travel to various locations throughout the country for a week of service. Our National Service Trips are affordable and fun! All food, housing, and transportation is included in the registration fee. We keep the trips small (~15 people) in order to build lasting friendships between trip participants. From working with kids to doing construction work, service trip activities vary each year. Depending on the timeline of the trip you attend, there may be an opportunity for sight-seeing; however, the purpose of these trips is to bring Christ’s love to those in need and these trips will provide ample time to reflect upon what that means for us in our daily lives. We don’t want cost to be a barrier for a life-changing experience! Scholarships are available for those with financial need – be sure to email to fill out a scholarship application.

“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” -John 15:12-13
